Auggie´s Classroom

Walt : identify and use the perimeter rule to calculate the size of Auggie’s classroom.

I was able to draw the perimeter of a class room and calculate it. The perimeter of Auggie´s classroom was 34.10 meters. It was kind of hard to calculate the perimeter.

Next time I can make it harder by making an irregular shape and use more complicated numbers e.g. 12.45, 30.147.

Multiplication

WALT: use a variety of multiplication strategies to solve problems

I know that if I choose my 2x 5x tables it is easy to solve problems.  I can use brackets when I do my multiplication, and I can add two digit numbers together.

Next time I need to practise and get better at my basic facts.
